Researchers are asking transgender participants to wear leotards and be photographed for this study. Their goal is to trigger "gender dysphoria" while The Mental health of the participants is not being prioritized.Β The potential end goal of this study is to decide who should have access to gender-affirming care, or if treatment is even necessary. It is suggestive of a search for medical "cure", which can open the door for more gatekeeping and restrictive policies.
