Resources

Welcome!

We believe that our TGI TGNC community should have access, and be informed about resources that can support their wellness, health, and rights! We centralized this information for you at the very beginning of the pandemic, and have since continued to update the resources/links. We strongly encourage sharing this document with anyone you think may benefit from this information or can add to it.

This is a transgender, gender non-confirming, intersex (TGI)-centered resource guide compiled by Gender Justice LA to support the TGI community in response to COVID-19

The intention of this guide is to connect TGI people with resources in response to COVID-19. This guide has a focus on the Los Angeles area but we have also included links to organizations doing work throughout the state and country. We are calling on the strength of our transcestors to carry us through this current moment of uncertainty. We hope this guide can connect you with resources to help meet your basic needs and link you to community and resources that will help cultivate strength.

*We want to thank everyone who shared resources with us and/or developed their own resource lists that center TGI communities. We know this is vital for our survival since TGI people are too often marginalized from accessing resources including during times of crisis. We are grateful to Zen Aziz (former Outreach Coordinator) who helped create this guide, and our 2022 & 2023 Dream Fellows: Christian Espinoza, Dafne Valenciano Coronado, Paulina Gutierrez, and Gustavo Garcia who helped update this guide.

You have to explore many things in the grocery stores, and now they are also delivering the products online. Grocery stores are giving a lot of discounts on a lot of items. About the grocery stores, one question is asked everybody: how late is the closest grocery store open? You can get the official information regarding the question on this website https://thebreakfasthours.com/how-late-is-the-closest-grocery-store-open/
